    blurb:
i'm fairly new to anime and manga, so i'm catching up on all the classics i've missed out on over the years. i did grow up on ghibli films (mainly kiki and totoro), but that was the extent of my anime watching until very recently.

    benyako:

The anime has been out for some time, yes, so I’m kicking myself for not sitting down and watching it sooner. I have yet to get my hands on all the Kuroshitsuji mangas and read them, but in watching this, the desire to meet Ms.Toboso in person has been rekindled. It takes a great storyteller to make something so tragic and raw, yet so beautiful and eye-opening. It struck a nerve in me that I honestly didn’t expect, and honestly I think I fell in love. Of course, Noah’s Ark is just one of the many stories Ms. Toboso has created in the Kuroshitsuji series, but it was done so well, it was enough to bring me to tears at the end.
    I find it amazing, really.
